Events & Programs
The Notre Dame Grad Life Grants program is a request-for-proposal process inviting graduate students to submit creative, community-building ideas for possible funding. The grants provide a unique opportunity to enhance graduate student life at Notre Dame with experiences outside the classroom, library and lab.
We love our grad students all year long, but one week per year we're taking extra time to show it! With parties, food, freebies, discounts, and most importantly, time to hang out with fellow grad students. Come out and enjoy a week of celebrating you! Look for this year's schedule coming later in September! #thanksbetograds
Graduate Orientation introduces our new students to their new community and connects them to an array of resources that support academic success and overall well-being.
Orientation 2017 will take place on Monday and Tuesday, August 14th and 15th.

GO stands for Get Out – as in, get out and do something fun. Get outside your routine and explore something new!
With the generous sponsorship of the Graduate School, GO Grants provide funding to Notre Dame graduate students and post-docs to participate in a wide variety of enriching and entertaining experiences. From concerts to kayaking, GO Grants can make it more affordable to get out and enjoy all that South Bend and Notre Dame have to offer.
Here for the summer? Join other graduate students at our annual series of summer events on campus and around South Bend. Enjoy free food and activities as we make the most of summer in Michiana!
Join a Writing Accountablity Group to receive feedback, support, and accountability from fellow students for meeting your writing goals. Register your own group or join an existing one, and Grad Life will provide a small stipend to help pay for drinks and snacks.
