Graduate Student Lounge
Visit the Graduate Student Lounge!
As of January 2018, Grad Life and the GSU now have their home on the south side of the 2nd floor of Duncan Student Center, adjoining the new Graduate Student Lounge.
Though some of our beloved features are on hold for safety reasons during the Covid-19 pandemic, the lounge will be open this Fall as a place for graduate students to find respite while safely physical-distancing. Check out Duncan's hours of operations during Covid-19 on their website.
Please note that, until further notice, no food is allowed to be eaten within Duncan Student Center. Further, all tables, chairs, and couches must be kept in the marked spots to ensure physical-distancing.
Did you know? There's a Graduate Student Lounge in the Library!
During long days at the library, writing and studying, find respite at the Library's graduate student lounge. Located on the 9th floor of Hesburgh in room 900, the room has open table workspaces and lounge chairs as well as a kitchenette with microwave, toaster, kettle, and fridge. The library also provides an assortment of professional development books for you to peruse and a PrintND printer.
You don't need to worry about any undergrads here, it's for grad students only. You can get the secret access code to the lounge by presenting your ND Graduate Student ID Card to the Circulation desk.
The Library Lounge is open this semester. Those that use the space are asked to be aware of and practice social distancing requirements and sanitize anything they use in the space. You can find the library's COVID-19 policies here: https://service-continuity.library.nd.edu/services.html
