Visit the Graduate Student Lounge!

As of January 2018, Grad Life and the GSG now have their home on the south side of the 2nd floor of Duncan Student Center, adjoining the Graduate Student Lounge.

With ample natural light, varied seating options, a microwave, tea kettle, and free coffee, the lounge is a perfect place for graduate and professional students to meet, eat, study, rest, and relax.  The lounge is open whenever the Duncan Student Center is open. Check out Duncan's hours of operations and plan your visit.

Reserve the Grad Lounge Conference Room

Inside the Graduate Student Lounge is a small conference room with seating for up to 5, dry-erase walls (yes, you can actually write on the walls!), and a large screen and phone for tele-conferencing. If the room is empty and not reserved, anyone can use it when the building is open. But you can also reserve it to be certain it is available when you need it for small group work or private zoom meetings.

Reserve the Graduate Student Lounge video-conference room here.

Out of consideration for your numerous fellow graduate students, please limit your reservation to three hours at a time.

Did you know? There's a Graduate Student Lounge in the Library!

During long days at the library, writing and studying, find respite at the Library's graduate student lounge. Located on the 9th floor of Hesburgh in room 900, the room has open table workspaces and lounge chairs as well as a kitchenette with microwave, toaster, kettle, and fridge. The library also provides an assortment of professional development books for you to peruse and a PrintND printer.

You don't need to worry about any undergrads here, it's for grad students only, and your Irish1 card will automatically grant you access.
